The Canzona Allegro Model 100 cello is a dependable, great-sounding student instrument designed for durability, consistency, and ease of play from the first lesson through advancing years. Constructed with a laminated spruce top and laminated AA-grade figured maple back, this cello offers excellent resistance to seasonal changes while maintaining the look and tonal character of a carved instrument. Each top and back is carefully hand-graduated to enhance resonance and response, producing a focused, balanced sound that supports developing technique and ensemble playing. The impact-resistant spirit varnish adds an attractive finish while withstanding the rigors of student use.

The Allegro features quality ebony fittings, including an ebony fingerboard and pegs for smooth tuning and long-term durability. A Wittner tailpiece with four integrated fine tuners allows for easy, precise adjustments, while the 19.5" steel rod endpin with composite plug provides stability and confidence in performance. The instrument comes professionally set up with D’Addario Prelude strings for a clear, dependable tone and quick response under the bow.
