45-Day Return Window
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return most items within 45 days of delivery for a refund to your original form of payment.
To initiate a return, please contact us at [your email] with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
Condition of Returned Items
To be eligible for a refund, all returned items must meet the following requirements:
- Must be in original, like-new condition
- Must show no signs of wear, damage, or misuse
- Must include all original packaging and materials, including:
- Case
- Accessories
- Documentation
- Certificate of Authenticity (if applicable)
All returns are professionally inspected upon receipt.
Items returned in a condition that is not resellable may be rejected or subject to a partial refund, at our discretion.
Certificate of Authenticity
If an instrument was sold with a Certificate of Authenticity, it must be returned with the instrument.
Failure to include the certificate will result in a $150 replacement fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part (incorrect item, damage in transit, etc.)
- If a return shipping label is provided, the cost will be deducted from your refund
We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
Refund Processing
- Refunds are issued to the original form of payment only
- Please allow 5–10 business days after the item is received and inspected for processing
Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
Exchanges & Damaged Items
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 14 days of delivery.
We will repair, replace, or exchange the item and cover shipping costs where the issue is confirmed to be our responsibility.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return if opened or used:
- Strings
- Rosin
- Cleaning products
- Polishes
- Cloths
- Earplugs
- Other consumable accessories
Refused Deliveries & Undeliverable Packages
If a shipment is:
- Refused
- Undeliverable due to an incorrect address
- Not received due to missed delivery attempts
The customer is responsible for:
- Original shipping costs
- Return shipping costs
These charges will be deducted from the refund.
🇺🇸 Domestic Shipping Only
Atelier for Fine Stringed Instruments ships within the United States only.
We do not offer international shipping.
If an order is placed using a freight forwarder or third-party shipping service, Atelier is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays once the package has been delivered to the forwarding address.
Shipping & Delivery
Orders are processed as quickly as possible. Delivery timelines may vary depending on location and carrier.
Orders of higher value may require signature confirmation upon delivery.
Order Changes & Cancellations
If you need to cancel or modify an order, please contact us immediately.
We process orders quickly, and while we will do our best to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee changes once an order has been processed or shipped.
