How to choose violin rosin
Light or dark. Lighter, harder rosins give a smooth, clean grip with less dust, and suit many violinists in warm or humid weather. Darker, softer rosins grip more strongly for a warmer, fuller sound, and many players prefer them in cold, dry months.
