The sound
Five strings, one organic voice
The added low C string expands your range into viola territory, opening up classical, jazz, rock and experimental music. Yamaha’s piezo bridge pickup, derived from its professional Silent Violins, delivers warm, organic tones that sound beautiful amplified or unplugged.
The lightweight infinity-loop body draws on Yamaha’s acoustic guitar design, and a simple 1/4-inch jack keeps the look clean while connecting easily to amps, pedals and recording gear. Every one is set up by our violin shop before it ships.
