A medium-tension set of G, D, A, and E strings for orchestral double bass. Helicore Orchestral strings use a multi-strand steel core and a nickel winding, with a ball end, for a warm tone and a quick response under the bow. They are made for arco playing and can also be used for pizzicato when a warmer, less sustained sound is wanted.

Made in the USA. Medium tension only. Choose the scale that matches the bass: 3/4 is the standard orchestral size, and 1/2, 1/4, and 1/8 fit smaller instruments. The photo for each size shows that size’s package.
