The Andreas Eastman BL80 Pernambuco Violin Bow is a refined step-up bow for advancing violinists who are ready for the response, balance, and tonal control of select pernambuco.

Building on the features of the Eastman BL60, the BL80 is handcrafted from more carefully selected pernambuco wood. Each stick is chosen for straightness of grain, uniformity of color, density, strength, and overall quality, resulting in a bow with excellent playing characteristics and an elegant appearance.

The BL80 features a nickel-mounted ebony frog with a mother-of-pearl slide and Parisian eye, silver-plated wire winding or imitation whalebone lapping, a genuine leather grip, and genuine unbleached Mongolian horsehair. With its combination of craftsmanship, materials, and playability, it is one of Eastman’s finest nickel-mounted violin bows.
