Thomastik-Infeld Dominant Pro DP100 violin strings are designed for players who need power and projection without sacrificing warmth or tonal flexibility. Their exceptionally fast response and focused sound core produce a clear, bell-like tone that carries beautifully while retaining a broad range of expressive colors.

Dominant Pro strings respond cleanly at quiet dynamics and remain stable and controlled under heavier bow pressure. The result is a confident, room-filling sound with an excellent balance of brilliance and warmth—ideal for soloists, chamber musicians and orchestral players.

The synthetic-core A, D and G strings feel comfortable beneath the fingers while delivering excellent modulation, sustain and projection. The tin-plated carbon-steel E string provides a brilliant yet balanced upper register, with a protective nickel layer beneath the tin plating for improved corrosion resistance. It also features a removable ball end, allowing it to work with either ball-end or compatible loop-style fine tuners.

Immediately after installation, the DP100 set has a warm, bell-like character. During the first three to five hours of playing, the strings gradually open up, becoming more brilliant, focused and responsive.
