🎻 Instrument Rental Terms
Atelier Fine Strings offers high-quality instrument rentals for violin, viola, cello, and bass, serving students and families throughout Greenwich, Norwalk, and surrounding communities.
Rental Term & Billing
Rentals are structured to support the school year, with billing based on the selected rental plan. Instruments may be kept as long as needed and returned at any time.
Returns
Rental instruments may be returned at any time. Billing ends once the instrument is received and checked in at our shop.
Returns can be made at:
- Norwalk location
- Cos Cob (Greenwich) location
Instrument Condition
Instruments should be returned in good condition, with normal wear expected from regular use. Customers are responsible for damage beyond normal wear, including repairs resulting from neglect or misuse.
Maintenance & Adjustments
Routine adjustments and basic maintenance are included during the rental period. We encourage periodic checkups to ensure proper playability and instrument care.
Loss or Damage
Customers are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear. Optional coverage plans may be available—please inquire for details.
Upgrades & Exchanges
Students may exchange instruments as they grow or advance. Our team will assist in selecting the appropriate size or level.
Rental Credit and Trade-Up Program
Eligible rental credit may be applied only toward the purchase of the instrument currently being rented or an Atelier-approved higher-level instrument. Atelier determines qualifying instruments based on quality, category, and advancement level—not solely on advertised price. Rental credit cannot be combined with online pricing, promotional pricing, sale or clearance pricing, coupons, or other discounts. Contact us for the credit period and terms that apply to your rental.
