Violin, Viola & Cello Rentals Serving Stamford, CT

Atelier Fine Strings offers violin, viola, cello, and bass rentals to students and families across Fairfield County, including Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, and New Canaan, with pickup available at our Cos Cob and Norwalk locations.

Rental Program

Every rental instrument is professionally set up and inspected before it leaves our shop, so students start with an instrument that plays the way it should. Our rental-credit-toward-purchase program lets a portion of what you pay in rental fees go toward buying that instrument or a step-up model later:

  • Violin & viola: credit builds over 2 years
  • Cello: credit builds over 1 year
  • Bass: credit builds over 6 months

We work with school orchestra programs, private teachers, and families throughout the Stamford area who need a reliable instrument for a student who is just starting out or stepping up to a better instrument. Our staff can help you pick the right size and rental tier for your student's level.

Before starting your rental, please have the following ready:

• The correct instrument size for your child (if you're unsure, we have a sizing chart available here!)

• A major credit card.
• A valid driver’s license.

You may also order any method books, rosin, shoulder rests, or other accessories here. These can be picked up with your rental or delivered together with your instrument.
