Atelier Fine Strings provides professional bow rehairing for violin, viola, cello, and bass bows, serving musicians in Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, New Canaan, and the surrounding Fairfield County area.

Why Rehair Matters

Bow hair loses grip and tension with regular playing. A fresh rehair restores the bow's response, evenness, and tone, and is one of the most affordable ways to keep a good bow playing well. We recommend a rehair roughly every 6-12 months for regular players, or sooner if hair is visibly worn, breaking, or discolored.

What We Offer

  • Rehairing for violin, viola, cello, and bass bows
  • Bow inspection for cracks, camber issues, or frog and tip damage
  • Minor bow repairs alongside rehairing
  • Quick turnaround for students and working musicians
